Dec 19 2018 Paula, Peter and the team from yesterday said how absolutely brilliant Lisa and the entire team at Avon Manor were yesterday, including all of the residents who were just fantastic. They were always helpful, positive and available throughout the whole day. It was also very evident that the approach at Avon Manor is clearly very different to other care homes that both Peter and Paula had experienced before. The positivity and inclusivity of all residents and the positive effect that it has on them is clearly evident. It was a pleasure for all involved and you have a team and two care homes that very definitely stand out from the crowd. Well done and its a real pleasure for myself and the team at Buzzword to be working with you.

Jun 12 2018 It may surprise you and it continues to amaze me but in thirteen years I have never seen the empathy and care that you provide; in terms of Well Lead you are Outstanding. To sit at the feet of two residents comforting them, joking with them, repositioning them and engaging and reassuring the visitors is something I have never seen but should see on a daily basis. This is obviously why you are my preferred choice to care for my mother if that day arrives.

My mother settled in very quickly because of the welcome they provided and their attention to her individual needs. The staff were very friendly and caring, the home was clean and the food was home cooked and very tasty. I also highly commend the manager and her deputy, who provide excellent leadership. When my mother was admitted to hospital after a fall, the manager moved heaven and earth to bring her back home, so that for the last two months of her life she was comfortable and contented. Whenever we visited we felt that my mother and the other residents were safe and well cared for.
