Aug 4 2016 My Mum stayed here briefly following discharge from hospital the staff were very caring and responsive to her needs. Some of the residents are quite demanding and the staff treated them with the utmost respect. There is a very pleasant lounge conservatory and relaxation room Mums room was also spacious and very pleasant mum say in the lounge rather than be isolated in her room.There were regular activities and a good thing was she was not encouraged to go to bed early or get up eay either the food was of a reasonable standard and she especially liked the bacon and egg sandwiches It is the kind of nursing home I would want to be a resident in if I needed to be If Mum needs a nursing home in the future I certainly hope that the Shrubbery has vacancies for her
