My daughter who is 7 went to stay with her grandparents for a few nights but during the first night experienced terrible vomiting and stomach pains. She was no better by morning and also had unexplained spots. NHS direct was of no use whatsoever. The nurse there was lovely and really helpful. The doctor who saw my daughter was fantastic and very good dealing with an autistic child too. Very happy with this service and how thorough the doctor was. I'm sad to say had my daughter needed to go to a walk in clinic back home there's no way given our previous experiences it would have been so quick or thorough. The local people are lucky to have this service and such a lovely doctor, thank you to both the nurse and the doctor |

My medical practice directed me to Kington Minor Injuries Unit in Kington after I fell and cut the back of my head. The treatment and care I received was excellent. I was seen immediately and within an hour I was cleaned up, the wound stitched and on my way home. A follow up appointment to check the wound was healing well and another to remove the six stitches were made. On each occasion I was seen immediately, the treatment was excellent and in a highly professional manner. I am most grateful and have no hesitation in recommending the Minor Injuries Unit to anyone in need. Thank you. |
