I spent 5 weeks in Richmond House, Farsley, for rehabilitation, during June and July 2016, and was most impressed by the happy and informal atmosphere and the caring and efficient staff
The house was beautifully decorated internally, with a pleasant walled garden filled with flowers and some vegetables, herbs and strawberries
There was a caring night check with a cheerful greeting if I was awake.
For entertainment there were Bingo, quizzes and seated ball games and exercises as well as free TV in each bedroom. We got to know each other as there was no fixed seating in the comfortable sitting rooms and dining room. Meals were very good – traditional and nourishing
I found my stay relaxing and therapeutic, and I highly recommend Richmond House as an excellent place for respite care or rehabilitation
