The Beeches

Sep 10 2013 My mother (94) has lived on her own for over 30 years. Her health and wellbeing have deteriorated over the last few years and she has had numerous heart attacks. In January this year she had quite a bad one and was in hospital 6 weeks. We (and Social Services) decided that the best option was to go into full time care. This was met by great resistance by her. However after a month or so we noticed a great improvement in her health and mental wellbeing. Now, 6 months later we have not seen her as happy or as mentally aware as this for years. The great majority of staff at The Beeches are excellent and cater for most needs . The home is clean and has no 'old people' smells whatsoever. Laundry is done daily. Meals are catered to suit. It being a different local authority to her own, we had problems sorting the finances out, but this is now done ok. Overall, this is highly recommended by us.
