Nov 26 2017 The manager and staff at this home are excellent. They clearly love caring for people and always go above and beyond what is expected of them. This is the fourth care home my Grandmother lived in and is by far the best. Other care homes could learn a lot from the way the manager runs this home. The staff here deserve to be paid at least the same salary as nurses - they are outstanding. The directors could also learn a lot from the staff as, in my opinion, they feel it is ok to profit from someone's death by charging fees after the death of a resident.

Jun 19 2016 My Great Grandma is 96 with Dementia, this is now the fourth care home she has been in (had to be moved due to neglect) and I cannot believe the improvement we have seen in her. Staff couldn't be more caring or informed and I just wish all care homes were to this standard. Staff are engaging and there's always something happening. I cannot recommend this home more.

She did find it difficult at first to settle but with the care and understanding of staff eventually it became 'home' . She needed a lot of patience which was given. The staff not only understood and looked after my mother but also took the trouble to reassure myself if I was bothered by anything. The main thing that impressed me when I went to look around, without an appointment. was it was light bright and didn't have an unpleasant odour. The staff made me feel welcome and it wasn't too much trouble to see me. The staff are a happy bunch and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are very polite to the residents at all times and have a laugh and joke with them at the same time as doing their jobs with efficiency. Unfortunately my mother passed away at the home in November 2015 but the care the staff gave her and my family was second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fieldhouse Care Home. There is very little staff turn over and when there is it is not noticeable as everything runs smoothly at all times.
