I contacted this care home to seek information on behalf of a senior who was looking for residential care. I was given information that did not match with the services provided on their website which gave me concerns. I addressed these issues in writing to their office and my letter was ignored. After a two month wait I rang to check what was happening I was told that the director was still on holiday and I would be contacted on their return. I am still waiting for a response to the concerns I raised over 4 months ago. I will certainly not be recommending this care home to anyone until I have evidence that they take prospective service users' concerns seriously and they can effectively deal with correspondence.

I was given misinformation by staff at this home who also disregarded my concerns and weren't interested in what I had to say. So I wrote to the head office at Halcyon Care. My letter was ignored. I rang the head office and was told they would pass my message on. Nothing happened. That was 2 months ago. I have since spoken to someone at head office who hadn't go a clue about what my complaint was. Does this organisation actually know what is going on at their care homes? Doesn't look like it.
