Bows

Our daughter transferred from Buttons, a JohnEdwards Carehome located in Swindon, Wiltshire to be closer to home and currently has a temporary placement at Bows. She requires full support to meet her basic needs and has very limited non verbal communication. Our daughter is extremely happy and is so much more receptive to our visits now that she is living at Bows. It is a pleasure to visit her, we saw her this evening and she just laughed and giggled the whole time we were with her. Whilst living at Bows our daughter has been given opportunities to have new experiences that we would never have tried. Our daughter is extremley vulnerable and as parents we all worry about out young people as they move away from home but we can honestly say that we are able to relax safe in the knowledge that our daughter is well cared for and loved. We can tell from her behaviour that she feels safe and secure, she always looks beautiful when we visit, has an excellent appetite and has made new friendships. The owners are very approachable and supportive and together, with the staff, Bows has a real family atmosphere. We would recommend anyone with a young person who has learning difficulties and or physical disabilities to consider Bows as their potential home from home.
