My husband Terence (Ted) was moved to Oldbury Grange after an eight week stay at Telford Princess Royal and Bridgnorth Community Hospital. The nursing staff were excellent but there were failings which made our experience more stressful. Arriving at Oldbury Grange was like arriving in paradise after leaving hell. I did not believe that any nursing home could be so perfect in every way. Now under new management who have turned this home around, employing only the very best staff with all the caring qualities you could wish for. My husband could not have received better care anywhere. The management and their staff relieved a lot of our anguish by their dedicated care and compassion.
I thank God that my husband arrived there when he did. I will always be indebted to all of you for ever.

My Dad, Mr T O'Brien age 81 was in telford hospital from 16th march 2015 after a bleed on his brain at home,
we was told he will not survive and only had weeks to live by the sister,
telford hospital was not that clean, most of the staff were nice, but it was very noisy, then he was move to bridgnorth hospital that was dirty and he got MRSA and fell out the bed and hust his knees, a member of staff forgot to put up his cot side, he was a very sick man, then we was told he will need to go to a cere home, so we looked on the net at some of the ones we was told had a bed in bridgnorth, we chose Oldbury Grange Nursing Home and god we are glad we did, the management were lovely, caring and understaning, my dad was moved there on the 27th april 2015 i can say that he got the very best care we could have ask for, all the staff we come in contact with were great, they are fantastic people, so careing and respectful, the home is very clean, good standard of care all round,
my dad said he feels like he's in a five star hotel, he was clean and looked after very well indeed,
but sadly that time came and my dad passed away yesterday the 4th may 2015 he was not alone, His Dear wife Linda, a friend and neighbour , my self, his son Carl were all by his side as he slipped away, we notified the staff who were there straight away to comfort us and say we can stay with him as long as we need, so if your lucky to get an offer of a bed here grab it why you can.
first class home, first class staff, and first class nursing management.
thanks for all you did for my father. Carl........ |
