Jul 14 2021 My grandmother has dementia and is in Whinnieknowe, she is looked after by friendly caring staff. I would highly recommend Whinnieknowe. They do lots of activities during the week with the residents. They have a hairdresser, get their nails done and there is even a sweet shop. My grandma speaks highly of the home made hearty meals. On sunny days they get to sit out in the beautiful garden with sun hats. I love visiting my grandma at Whinnieknowe it's such a welcoming place and very well run. During covid we got to face time my grandma or window visits.
