I am the most extreme coward when it comes to tooth extraction and for the past 60 years, following a bad experience at Birmingham Dental Hospital, have always opted for General anaesthesia for extractions. Having had raging toothache for a week I eventually called the dentist and received an appointment for the next day. To my horror the dentist said that an extraction was essential and very sympathetically and competently explained the pro's and cons of a quick extraction using local anaesthetic The dentist was 'bang on' and the extraction was quick and painless leaving me wondering why I had spent so much money in the past on general anaesthesia. I wish that I had grasped the nettle 50 years ago. I will no longer fear tooth extraction and am so grateful for the kind reassuring way that I was treated. Full marks.. |

Recieved text to remind me of appointment. Was greeted by a member of staff on arrival cheerful and plesent. Explained P apper work to me. Dentist greeted me and explained what she was doing through out treatment. First time visit. Easy online booking system with text reminders!
Tidy, clean waiting room. Seen on time. Dentist and assistant were pleasant, efficient and explained everything they needed to. Dentist was more gentle that other dentists I have visited so plus points for that! Reception staff were efficient. NHS prices and easy payment. |
