I receive text and email reminders for my appointments, which I suppose is the only good thing I can say about this place. On arrival, I apologised for being a bit late as I struggled to find parking, only to be met with the receptionist saying "your dentist came out a few minutes ago and told me he forgot to cancel this appointment". Taken aback, I told them that I'd paid for a double appointment (treatment over two sessions) and they replied with "your treatment was completed in the first session". They then proceeded to book my next appointment - no apologises, no explanation of the lack of communication. 1. I was not informed that the treatment was completed at the time. 2. I was not called or left a message at any point to be told about the cancellation. 3. I've been charged double the price for one session. I was too shocked and frustrated to say anything in this situation, and I've been told by others that I'm not the only one to have this problem... |

I have been a patient of this surgery for several years. The standard has definitely gone down since My Dentist has taken over. On my most recent visit my dentist was running thirty minutes late. When sat waiting I became aware that everyone who had been to see the dentist was telling the receptionist they had been told they needed to see the hygienist, the receptionist then explained this was classed as a private service costing between £48 and £72. I was called for my appointment, the dentist took a quick look at my teeth and told me I needed to see the hygienist, surprise, surprise! I was under the impression that my £22.70 appointment charge included a scrape and polish, the dentist told me he no longer had time to do this. Why should I have to pay extra when this should be done as a routine? Needless to say I did not book an appointment with the hygienist at this surgery and I am seeking a second opinion. |

this surgery over books appointments to make as much money as possible. on repeated occasions appointments over 40mins late with no explanation of advise given of how long wait would be and then spend less then 5 mins sat in the dentist chair. Poor service and left feeling like the staff really don’t care as. No consideration given to patients. |
