Aug 1 2017 I have just telephoned Claregate Dental Practice and they say there is a 3 year waiting list and that even applies to my 7 year old grandaughter who lives 5-10 minutes away from the practice. I have been a patient at Pendeford Dental Practice within Pendeford Health Centre but unfortunately the dentist who I seen is no longer there. I needed to have my teeth checked because I damaged one of my teeth and it is causing me a lot of discomfort and pain. I am a Warfarin patient and I like to get my teeth checked regularly and have recently had CBT because of fears which have been with me since childhood and even though I have not overcome my fears of the drill I have come a long way due to the therapy. I am disappointed at the waiting time for the above and especially for my grandchild who will be in secondary school before she can be offered an appointment and especially after recent reports on the poor oral health of young children.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, we only have a small NHS contract at the practice and it is impossible to see everyone on the NHS with that limited funding. Hence, a waiting list has been created. This is common problem across the UK and beyond our control. We are trying our best to shorten the waiting list.Claregate Dental Practice

Apr 21 2022 My experience is always an excellent one at this dental practice. The whole team are brilliant and extremely professional. All procedures are fully explained and options are always given. If you need treatment, they will fit you in as soon as possible - mine was the next day after fracturing a tooth. I cannot praise the team enough- and this is everytime we go. We have been going to this dentist for over 15 years now and would not even consider changing them. Thank you for what you do.
