I saw a dentist called Matthew to have a wisdom tooth taken out. He completely put me at ease and explained everything in great detail. I explained how nervous I was and he really did put me at ease. The assistant nurse was just as nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this dentist. |

After being afraid of going to the dentists for many years i was eventually forced to go. The practice was clean and I felt comfortable when I walked in. The dentist and nurse introduced themselves. They made me feel like I wasn’t being silly and understand I was genuinely afraid. He was very thorough and took time to explain the treatment plan. The nurse was kind, smiling and caring. I felt that they really cared and took things at my pace. Today was my second day back for continuing treatment. And for the first time I wasn’t afraid and making excuses not to go. What a great team. Highly recommended Reply from Whitby Dental care Wed, 02 Oct 2019 15:54:53 +0100 Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback and taking time to do this. The team is very grateful. Every time I visit here there are different staff. Bad enough getting my son here.but had to wait 45 minutes for our appointment. No apology or explanation given. Again a different dentist to the one we saw last time and a different assistant. Both were unwelcoming and unfriendly.. No reassurance.my son sat in the chair, was told that his teeth weren't brushed right and fluoride put in. The dentist didn't tell my son or me what she was doing. Then after this 2 minutes "treatment" we were told to come back in 4 months. My son threw up when we got outside. Needless to say its put him off going now. I'm glad he's under 16 so i didn't have to pay. But there is no way i would have paid anyway. Appalling service, no continuity of care because you never see the same dentist twice. Will be looking elsewhere. Will probably now have to travel out of my hometown to a different area for dental treatment. |
