I had a tooth out, never something to look forward to. The treatment I received was excellent. The procedure was totally pain free both during and afterwards. I found the dentist, Mr King, very friendly, and reassuring and the general atmosphere pleasant. I would happily recommend this practice. |

I took my son for a check up. He has Aspergers. The dentist had about as much sensitivity as a brick wall. My son became distressed. Since then we have both been treated elsewhere with no problems at all. Avoid |

Registered as a NHS patient, the reception staff were very friendly and professional. I don't like going to the dentist and I only went when I started to have dental pain (too late I know) anyway the dentist said he'd fill the tooth.
Filling was done then I continued to have pain in the tooth went back to the dentist twice still said there was nothing that looked wrong with the filling, explained it was a large filling and they can hurt more after filling had done. I wasn't happy so made a complaint they got me in the next appointment available that suited my other commitments etc. But then during the appointment the dentist admitted he wouldn't really be comfortable to conintue to treat me becasue I put in a complaint. He politely recommended to go to another dentist. I didn't really think this was fair however I understood his postition as he felt the trust had gone between him and me however I felt he made no effort to regain my trust. I do not believe I was rude or anything due to the was NHS dental treatment is handled in the local area there are limited lists open and the waiting lists for other dentist can mean your waiting up to 2 months just to get an intial appointment let alone any work done.
I think the situation wasn't handled amazingly and I still have pain in the tooth which I don't think is nessersary the dentist's fault just my bad luck but it does not bode well for anyone who does want to raise concerns over their treatment. |
