I had surgery 25/04/19 for an awkward upper right impacted wisdom tooth, which has been partially erupted on my gum and stuck behind my molar for several years, causing multiple infections, swelling and excessive amounts of pain, along with my right nostril being permanently blocked.Prior to surgery the receptionist put me at total ease. Yesterday, during surgery the dentist always gave me feedback and made me feel extremely relaxed throughout the operation. I could not feel the injection and only knew I had been given a local anaesthetic until my mouth went numb.5 mins later into my operation I could feel without any pain the Dentist move my tooth from side to side before it was pulled upwards and out of my mouth. I was surprised the dentist informed me the operation was all done and my tooth had came out so easily considering the awkward position in which it had been impacted for years. I then got asked to bite onto a dressing for a few minutes which stopped the bleeding to help form a stabled blot clot to avoid a dry socket. Over 24 hours later I still have no pain, surgery has been successful and the operation has been very minimalistic in terms of damage and trauma. The wound is very neat and tidy due to the high level of skill and technical ability of the dentist. Also after surgery my right nostril is perfectly clear and is now the same as my left nostril and no longer have a sense of pain from an impacted wisdom tooth and an inflamed gum. Surgery was extremely successful and glad I had it done. Prior to surgery I was very anxious due to many friends and family reporting how bad Wisdom tooth surgery has been at other dentists. I was horrified to hear their recoveries had taken weeks. I can only put the success of my surgery and other treatments down to the skill, mastery and years of dedication of my dentist whose abilities are surly a perfect role model to any future or aspiring dentist who wants to perform at the very best of their abilities. The dentist also had expectational customer service skills too and is very modest and always extremely pleasant. The Practice throughout has staff of the best possible standards who have customer care and a friendly professional service at hand on every visit. The Dental Care Centre in Little Lever is a precious gem and personifies excellence in Dentistry.

Referred here with retained roots from previous treatment - my own dentist was unable to treat this. Appointments always punctual. Felt fully involved in the treatment plan and was happy to be guided with options of treatment and agreed a reasonable compromise which would potentially cause less future issues and would achieve the desired result. Procedure was done quickly and efficiently. Was fully informed at all steps Staff all very professional, treated courteously and felt that I was the focus at all times. Follow up was as planned and the outcome of treatment has been what I expected. Really pleased and happy to recommend this practice.

I went for a check up and returned the following week for a deep clean, the dentist and team where excellent.
