Very unhappy with the way that this practice has dealt with my 13 month old daughter. Had to cancel a previous appointment as she was very unwell and couldn't have given 24 hours notice. Impossible. They kindly said they would waiver that rule with her being poorly. I turned up to the following appointment late due to to an accident on the roads and bad traffic. Again I couldn't forsee the accident. Despite being told they would waiver the previous cancellation issue I was then told that it still applied and that combined with being late (through no fault of my own!!) meant they wouldn't see her. Not just today but ever. She was born with 2 teeth and I urgently needed someone to re assure me they were OK and they left me feeling very distressed and without hope anyone would see my little girl. They refused to offer advice on being able to get another dentist and all of the staff were incredibly rude. They made it very clear as she was a minor and not paying that she wasn't a priority over those who were paying. Their staff lacked in tact and diplomacy and unfortunately I found the dentist himself to be the rudest of them all. I can understand discharging an adult on the NHS for failing to attend or being late, but a child of 1 year old who isn't in control of the situation? Absolutely appalling. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE! |
