When my husband was having a bad allergic reaction to a spider bite, this surgery helped him on the same day when his own surgery refused to see him. They gave him antibiotics and treated him first, rather than wait for paper work to be filled out for him to register, that came after. If they didnt see him he would have had to go to A&E and wait hours to be seen.
I have always had a good service when needing to see a doctor myself. I have seen one particular doctor and he is a very nice man, very kind. |

I am disgusted that I had been lied to regarding appointments that day. I know was lied to as I phone a first time and spoke to the receptionist and they had told me there's no more appointments in the morning only in the Barton surgery on what I was not able to get to as I have two young children and do not drive. I then found my self a lift so I phoned back but the other receptionist answered so I asked are there any more appointment today at goose berry as if I had never phoned before the other receptionist replied yes and I booked my appointment. The phone call had no longer then 3 minutes difference. I am out raged and shocked that my trust towards my surgery has been deceived. I feel they lack in customer service and need new staff.
The doctor was a shock to me also. The doctor made me feel lower than himself and as if I was not important. They spent about 10 minutes explaining why i could only tell them one of my problems for coming to the surgery;on what they could
Of been resolving my issues.
The doctor then judged me on an I incident what must of been on my file and to be honest the incident was all a confusion.
The doctor belittled me and I felt very welcomed and the reason for me coming to the Gp was not important. |

The earliest appointment available was over 4 weeks. This is not acceptable when the practice is (1) only open for 1\2 days a week (2) still taking on new patients.because they are a training practice and cannot close their books. One never see's the same doctor twice, because of the amount of trainee doctors visiting the practice. This would not matter with simple health problems, but older patients with multiple serious problems,it creates a lot of anxiety. |
