I m feeling sick because I have run out of my tramadol even if it was requested from the riverside pharmacy many days ago. If I don t have it by tomorrow I will need to call an ambulance as I start shaking and feel suicidal. Mr Enrico Cristiano 14/07/67 | ||||||

According to recent communications from my Doctor Surgery, GADE SURGERY, CHORLEYWOOD, I am not allowed to write to my Doctor ever?. And I can only arrange an emergency appointment between 9 AND 10 in the morning ?. Basically, if something goes wrong you need to remember a series of rules.. or you’ll phone, hang on listening to answer phone music for at least an hour. I find the whole experience dysfunctional and more senior friends of mine find the whole experience impossible. Copied two recent texts: ? Dear Patient We wish to inform you that letters sent into the surgery will no longer be an acceptable method by which to communicate with a GP. This is a decision that has been made based on patient safety. Should you wish to see or speak to a GP, appointments are available. You can call and either use the automated system or wait to speak to a receptionist, you can call in person and speak to a receptionist or use the kiosk, or you can use one of the many apps / online options to communicate or make an appointment. We thank you for your support and understanding. ????? Dear Mr Gibbins We would like to request that you only call the surgery between the hours of 08:00-09:00 when you need to book an emergency appointment. Emergency issues are addressed by the doctor on the day so you will be asked to attend the same morning. You cannot select a time but will be offered the next available slot. Routine appointment requests will only be dealt with after 09:00. Should you call before this, it is likely you will be asked to call back as the lines must be kept clear for emergencies. If you are able to, please use the automated telephone system, one of the online apps or the newly installed check-in machine in the surgery to make routine appointments. Blood test results will only be given out between 15:00-16:00. If you call outside of these times, particularly when it is busy and wait times are long, you may be asked to call back. Blood test results can be made available, via the online apps, on request. We constantly review the way we work and will make changes if we believe it will improve the service we provide.
