Riley House Surgery

I have been with this riley house surgery since I was 15 I'm now 34... Its gone down hill massively. Can't get an appointment when you call up ur in a que for over 30 mins to an hr... I suffer with asthma. I have a chest infection and called up to get antibiotics. I was told you go to my chemist ( for what I don't know) in the end I called 111 and they gave me what I needed the day after my mum had to call me an ambulance as I couldn't breathe... The doctors kept fobbing me off for 2 weeks..... Something needs to change with them

I haven't been able to see a doctor in person for nearly 3 years, they never have appointments, patches online service is a joke. I tried everyday for 3 days from 6 30 to 8 am and it's always closed. As a patient with very serious past medical history I find it disgusting that I can never get to see my doctor in person. The receptionists are rude and not very helpful . We were referred to a pharmacy knowing very well it was for an infection and a pharmacy couldn't prescribe antibiotics, this was for a child with a disability, even the receptionist at the pharmacy said this medical practice likes to pass their patients to them and are incompetent. I cannot begin to describe how terrible this GP practice is. I had to question if I have to be on my deathbed before getting an appointment. I love our NHS and have great respect expecially whilst the whole nation suffered so much in recent years and its because of medical practices like this one that they have a bad reputation. Avoid at all cost
