Rang for an appointment, usual two week wait for a phone consultation. Asked if l could speak to the Duty doctor. Who when she phoned proceeded to lecture me. Saying that l wasn’t an emergency so she wouldn’t proceed with the consultation. I didn’t say to the receptionist that l was , The Doctor then said that it was her job to educate the patients on the running of the surgery. I didn’t get a consultation just a lecture. What a waste of time for all I now have an appointment for a phone call in two weeks time with a doctor that l have never seen. When is Woodlands going to be a proper GP practice again? |

No help or awareness in helping with mental health conditions. The majority of the receptionists are unkind, unhelpful and seem to think of themselves as qualified medical professionals. Good luck getting an appointment in less than 2 weeks. It's been worse since the East Peckham surgery closed. The lovely doctors only ever seem to cover whilst someone is leaving and they are waiting for the replacement to start. The nurses are usually lovely but aren't always great (can never seem to take blood, advise on weight and the pill but are extremely overweight), the screens in the surgery rarely work, the car park never has spaces, they take a long time to send the prescription to the chemist and if you need medication weekly, like for arthritis, you'd better not work full time because you will constantly be chasing the prescription and calling the doctor and the chemist. |
