11 DAYS I waited for a repeat prescription, then everything was rejected when I finally managed to get attention drawn to it. They said it had already been issued! Despite the Chemist stating and proving that it hadn't! My punishment for daring to challenge the administration was to have it all rejected again without any consultation with myself. One of the rejected ones was 5 weeks between prescriptions and clearly shows as such on the patients Access. But the cold callous person concerned just rejected that as well. Today I was told that a GP face to face appointment was not and was a telephone appointment! Despite being told at the time it was face to face. Well at the appointed time no phone call came, which I was half expecting as there never is from this Doctor. I then get a call from another receptionist asking why I never turned up for my appointment! What are they dribbling on about! They make you scream with despair, at their collective stupidity at times! I then get told the Doctor has tried to contact me! How did she do that may I ask? They can see my phone and check it if they want! So now I have a call booked for sometime don't know when but could be between 9- anytime after if they remember! If not it's my fault for whatever reason they find at the time to cover their own misgivings! |

Recently I was in Hospital for major surgery. Whilst in there my heart started to race and I was in AF, So they placed me for 3 days in HDU> When I came out they wrote in the discharge letter and a seperate letter that I had to have follow up and they to arrange ECG straigh away. Well that was obvious. 6 weeks after I get a random phone call from a Doctor who only just saw the letter whist looking at my notes to resolve yet another blunder! The Doctor wrote out a form to go get an ECG and left it with the receptionist or so they said. I am at the moment house bound due to health issues made worse by this practice. So I have a part time career and they had a flu injection appointment on Saturday just gone 2nd October 2021. So they can pick up the ECG appointment letter then yes? Mkaes total sense? Oh no not in this case. Not only did they get refused their flu jab because they never confirmed they were coming to the appointment?? Yet they were not asked to confirm it. They were told by the person behind the reception desk that they will not be handed any letter as today is for FLU only? What nasty spoilt evil excuse of a human being would do that? Anyway after contacting last Monday we get told the lettermis not there they cant find it?? Which was not a suprise as they have lost the last 5 letters yes 5 no joke hospital letters with my name on, and thats not including the ones I have had to copy and get hand delivered! Anyway finaly today I get sent a copy of the letter for ECG or so I thought! But no what did I get? A copy of a knee surgery referal letter that is totaly not what I wanted? Why is this? What colective system do they have in place for so many blunders all the time? Why are they deliberately trying to kill people off. They are dangerous and incompetent and not fit for purpose. 6 weeks for urgent ECG and still cant do the most basic simplistic of tasks! So come on then! What pathetic excuse shall we have ths time? The troubling times? Covid poor staff? Yes thats the one poor staff who's left hand does not know what right hand is doing. You should be ashamed of yourselves? How do you sleep at night? Now for crying out loud just do what you have been asked to do by the senior Medic in this case and put pen to paper ok! |

On Monday I had a much needed phone call from a Doctor who I think is great! As I am temporarily housebound and needed blood tests (As requested by 2 hospitals) He arranged an Appointment for Wednesday 23rd June 2021. As this was a fasting test by 3pm I was getting very hungry, especially worsened that my meds had to be taken with food and not on empty stomach. At 3:30pm I received a call from a doctor on a different matter, but they conformed that the home visit blood test was scheduled for that day, but could be done the next day! Well test did not hapen so at 6pm I actually ate (Yippie) Next day I fasted and again a NO SHOW! Its no wonder they are a laughing stock and the mess they are in is of their own making. Problem after problem every day. To be honest I was asked to sign a patition to keep NHS Sergery's away from private sector. I never signed it. At the moment I and the majority of people I have spoken to think that this surgery is not fit for purpose. Which is a shame as there are some really nice people working there. Its just a shame they others do not sing from the same Hymn Sheet! |
