I can only describe this practice as top class and the doctors are no less than brilliant as well as all the supporting nurses and staff. After a minor accident i was seen and treated very quickly and my injuries diagnosed and and explained in layman terms which was very helpful for me to understand my treatment and move forward. Can't praise them enough 5 stars every time. Leo. | ||||||

I visited Fordington surgery after having fainted in the morning, following a night of vomiting. As I could identify the cause of the vomiting, and as my symptoms had abated by lunch time, I did not deem it necessary to see a doctor, but was offered an appointment with a nurse for a general health check and was seen within a matter of hours. The sister's manner was warm, reassuring, informative, professional, and thorough. A few days later whilst at work I had another dizzy spell, accompanied by palpitations and rapid heart beat. I follow a healthy lifestyle and so the sudden onset of a racing pulse and sweating was terrifying. My first thought was that I was having a heart attack. My workplace being less than 5 mins walk from the surgery I arrived unannounced, told the person at reception that I was having a strange episode and would it be possible to see a nurse to check my vitals as i was very concerned. Within 20 seconds I was having my blood pressure and pulse checked, and once again, treated in a very caring, attentive, fashion. Reassured followed the assessment, I returned to work and booked an appointment to see a doctor. Again, I was seen within a few hours, and again treated with the utmost warmth and professionalism by the doctord. I felt that I was carefully listened to, that my fears were taken seriously, and that I was in good, capable hands. A series of tests were carried out there and then, and with some of the results available immediately I left the surgery with a feeling of confidence and trust in the medical staff. Within 2 days a doctor telephoned me with the additional results. All in all, an outstanding performance by Fordington Surgery. | ||||||

I was sad to read such a negative review for what is a fantastic surgery, particularly based on 1 visit. I have always found all the staff to be friendly, courteous and respectful even during busy periods. | ||||||
