I filled in an econsult which, as far as I can tell was not read properly or understood as I received a call way after the appointment time from someone describing themselves as a muscular skeletal specialist, which it transpires is a physiotherapist who simply repeated all the questions I’d answered fully on the econsult, no more no less. In the end it was agreed I needed an X-ray which is what I’d asked for. Calling late and not apologising tends to indicate that the person feels their time and appointments are more valuable than mine. I was then informed that results will go to her and I would need a face to face with her before I could see a GP so that she could explain the results and give advice. I see this diverting patients to less qualified staff as an unnecessary step to prevent free access to my GP. All diagnostics should be carried out by a doctor. The system is back to front and makes me feel my issue is not seen as important. We have no choice but coastal practice in this area which is also a bad thing. |

I felt very let down by the practice team my information had been input incorrectly into the IT system and I felt a lack of care about the impact this had on me when no one could contact me although I provided the correct information to them. This was their error but I suffered and was made to feel terrible, i imagine I will not ever get booked for an appointment in the future as raised this with them but no ine has taken responsibility. I am really upset about this and concerned about the lack of care and consideration for me as a patient. I expected a better experience and more care to be afforded to me and am very upset about this experience. |

I discovered that my tablets would run out when I was on holiday and had not left enough time to get my prescription renewed. The receptionist opening up the surgery at 8am grasped the problem and even when the pharmacy put a spanner in the works reissued the prescription so that it could be filled elsewhere. Throughout I wzs treated courteously and patiently. The practice has alwzys provided us with good service. |
