For the first time in years I needed several appointments in the same month. Appointments with GPs were efficiently arranged for a few days after the requests were made and successful treatment plans established. In one case the GP afforded me a 30 minute consultation. The reception team have reached new heights of good practice, not only in booking appointments but also in finding answers to questions about medication. |

I phoned on the morning of 11 July to book an urgent GP appointment and was surprised at the friendliness and helpfullness of the receptionist I was speaking to, something that is unusual at this practice. I saw a GP who was amazingly kind and caring despite already being behind due to an earlier over running appointment. I have never had a bad experience with a GP at this Surgery. When I phoned to book a follow up appointment this morning I was greeted by the usual surly receptionist attitude, no consideration that I wanted to discuss a result, when I asked if she could ensure the result was in I was told to ring after 2pm as that is when they do that. Such a shame because the only criticism I have of this Surgery is the receptionist staff’s attitude although clearly there are some kind and helpful staff coming through now. |
