I think the service is pitiful. Phoned up to book an appointment for frozen shoulder as i wanted an injection for the pain ( had one 5 years ago and got appointment straight away , so i knew what the problem was now with other shoulder ). Was told there are no appointments for two weeks and you cant book one for 3 weeks away. Had a call back from triage who said to ask the surgery to make an appt with physio at hospital, but cant do that now as can only make that phone call on a Thursday. Phoned back Thursday, got appt for two weeks away. Attended , confirmed what i already knew , it is a frozen shoulder and phsyio put me forward for an injection at the surgery. Phoned surgery to make injection appt was told they dont know when the next clinic for injections is but there is a 3 to 4 month waiting list. Gone private instead. This surgery has gone down hill since 2012 when i was last there. |

I rang Whiteley surgery to give them notice that i was taking out Life insurance, critical Illness/sickness Cover and that the company would be in touch for my medical records. WS advised me that when the company writes to them they will find out what records they need and invoice them accordingly, then wait for payment and then the records would be released. Its been nearly a month, i rang to check with WS what stage we are at with this only to be told that noting from the company has been received. As you can imagine im upset with this information as this means im still not on cover for critical illness / sickness from work (self employed) or have any life insurance. I contacted my financial advisor who is on holiday and then contacted her out of office contact, who couldn't deal with it so contact my FA. Actually the company had written to WS 2nd April and received a letter requesting a payment for £77 on the 24/04/2019 from WS – the letter was dated the 16th April and sent second class by whitely surgery !!!!! There is no record on my file recording my phone call yesterday and nothing (ive been advised again this afternoon) showing any logging of letters sent out. im extremely upset and angry over this and the fact that ive had to get my FA involved unnecessarily whilst she is on holiday, because of your staff and poor knowlege/record keeping. Does not fill me with confidence about my personal records you are keeping on me. Very unhappy WS patient ... just dreadful handling |

I have recently moved back into the area and have required the following treatments: referral from a GP to a private consultation - this was booked and arranged within a week and the letter was ready for me two days after the appointment. Smoking Clinic, I have attended every week for the last six weeks and have on my own necessity had to re-arrange, this was always done with no trouble. I have attended for other appointments last year as well and have never really had any trouble whatsoever. |
