I have just read a review on Google that a US traveller just walked in to the Fareham Centre Practice and was seen without an appointment!! I've been trying for 2 months to get my 79 year old dad in for a face to face appointment with a GP after a fall, practically begged Dr Allison but no appointment given, they just keep fobbing my poor dad off who was quite active before but now is in pain, swollen and can hardly walk. Rhia and Cheryl on reception were helpful but Fiona the Practice Manager was rude, unhelpful, dismissive and obstructive - shame on you! |

My Dr has a very poor attitude. I called 111 who put me in touch with a Doctor, who spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me. He revealed something on my X Ray taken last November which was missed by my doctor, so best avoid this Practice. Unfortunately, I’ve had too much contact in recent months. Thus, my recent experience is relevant. I have waited in excess of an hour and a half to speak with the receptionist on the phone. (This is better than my previous practice, where you are cut off after 15 minutes). However, when you speak to the receptionist, they are unfailingly helpful and pleasant and listen to your problem. Subsequently, whenever you are treated be it by doctors or nurses, one is treated respectfully, efficiently and professionally. In these changed times, I believe you can’t ask for more. But you have to persistent. |
