I would recommend this surgery to my friends and family. I was with it for 18 years and then moved away for 20 years. I lived in Kew Surrey. I came back to Southampton in 2004 and rejoined the surgery.
Great Doctors, Nurses and staff.
They are friendly, helpful and kind to me. One Doctor at the surgery I think is wonderfull. She has helped me so much in the past 14 years to deal with my problems. I like the surgery as it is not too big in size . |

We have moved into the area and was looking to find a good doctors and we came across this place from the moment you step in you are made to feel welcome from the front desk staff which is nice as that makes you feel like a person not just a number.
The doctors work hard to get things right and put you on the right path and take the time to listen which means a lot .
I am very lucky to have found this lovely place thank you staff of Atherley house. Reply from Atherley House Surgery Thu, 23 Aug 2018 09:51:14 +0100 Thank you so much for your fabulous feedback. My husband and I joined this practice in January 1981 and we have received consistent care all through these years.
When my husband visited the surgery in November 2017 because of ongoing tiredness he was quickly seen and referred to hospital. Prostate cancer was diagnosed on December 27th, operation on March 8th with removable of prostate and lymph nodes. All through this journey the care and attention has been exemplary from surgery, hospital, clinics etc.
The latest example of care from this surgery was 20/7/18 when extreme swelling of leg and ankle raised alarm of a possible DVT. Visiting the surgery at 09:00 led to a referral for a Doppler scan at 13:40 the same day confirmed that there was no DVT
However we are both so grateful for a surgery staffed by individuals with a whole person sense of care that we have experienced over many years.
With both of us having ongoing chronic diseases we have always been received with compassion, honesty and utmost care and attention.
The Surgery itself is always clean, tidy, warm and welcoming, always conducive to feeling relaxed even when a bit anxious.
We always are well informed by the regular newsletters and feel our feedback is valued.
We have seen many staff come and go over 371/2 years and have the utmost respect for all who have dealt with our various needs.
We could not ask for a better service......thank you every one of you. |
