Had a phone call two weeks ago to be told I needed to come in and speak to a doctor about my medication I am on. Today 18.07.19 I had my appointment with a Dr and when I was called in the Dr Had no idea why I was there and I literally had to do their job for them. I had to explain to the Dr that I was there to discuss my medication with them. Also spoke to the Dr about another complaint I had and there was no outcome this Dr could give me. I don’t understand how you can go to the doctors and they not have a solution for you. Absolute shambles! |

Saw Dr in April with a rash all over my body and calcified veins in my ankle said he would refer me to dermatology and for a Doppler scan. In early June after contacting the surgery several times I got 4 letters from the NHS with appointments in September and October 3 were for the same date and time but different locations. Phoned the surgery and was told to pick the one i wanted to go to. Latest issue is that I take thyroid medication 100mcg. I put a prescription in for Epaderm cream pick it up and had thyroid tablets that were 25mcg with no explanation for reduced dosage. Contacted the surgery several times included using message from website no responses eventually contacted them today(21/06/2019) with a promise that they would speak to doctor and ring me before they closed. nothing, I am about go away for a week not knowing what dosage to take.........Still no date for Doppler |

Another appointment.. I feel I’m listened to but not heard :( ..... I'm sorry i am not a quick 'Patch up' and on your way patients........ I was really upset when the Nurse did not know all my current medication..This is an ongoing problem here... She made matters worse when did not agree with some of my treatment/medication. My response was, You better talk to the doctors .... So she suggested a drug review with a doctor. I told her I've had two this year and I had seen a doctor recently, who increased some of my pain medication.... I wish I could say I left feeling a little positive but I truthfully cannot.... I have now opened up to the Nurse as I do the Doctors about how I’m coping and recently what thoughts I’m having.. |
