Read the reviews and was a little anxious about going to the centre.in the past it's taken ages to get through to reception,so I was really surprised when the phone was answered after a wait of 3/4 mins.Very helpful Male receptionist found me an appointment with a doctor I had not met before.While waiting in reception the TV screen announcements said,'your GP appointment is for 10mins,so make the most of it'.So even more anxious now,in case I felt rushed.Met a DR.Lovely nature,diagnosed me straight away and gave me prescription.Gave me information about my complaint and said to come back if I needed to.Spoke briefly about another condition as well.Not sure if I over stayed my 10mins.i will make another appointment with him anytime.
We are so lucky to have the NHS,I had been treating myself for 2 weeks,with no results,I wish I had gone sooner.Sorry to hear that some of you have needed to complain.Hope you have better treatment next time. |

I have now been registered at this surgery for 2 years and am very happy with all aspects of the service provided.
Yes, it can sometimes take longer to get through on the telephone but the advantage of an online system to book appointments, request prescriptions etc outweighs this.
I have had cause to visit more frequently in recent months; the medical staff always treat me with dignity and respect and the reception staff are very courteous. Add to this a pleasant building with attached pharmacy and the option of having blood tests done on-site - I would not consider changing practice. |

Quite agree with all the rudeness comments - especially male doctors who must remain unnamed. Empathy is 0.
Pharmacy is in chaos - surely the reviews enough are to get the wheels in motion to try and save this Centre/Pharmacy. Pharmacy staff need to be aware of why patients become angry. Heaven help us, when the holiday season starts..........
There are only two doctors who you can have some confidence in - and the clock is ticking if you ever get a consultation with them.
