Horrible receptionists, even if 111 can view available appointment receptionist would not give you the appointment , even though you can ask to be seen by different gp receptionist will refuse, can ask to speak to practice manager at reception though you will be told she will reach on phone but would not even tell you in how many days. even if you send an email for an appointment with practice manager you would get an email has been forwarded with no SLA even though as per nhs sla is 3 days. GP i am seeing is not interested and can send you back with most aliments as life long. You have tell the doctor your ailement then also it on his mood . I had was told test by royal berkshire hospital and advised to ask for referral to a department. Though GP claims nod without telling if he made a referral or not. I want to change the GP but receptionist again receptionist wont let me. |

After four years of good treatment at the practice I have felt very let down in the last eight months. On attending with an agonising back problem I was told it would get better by itself, then I had to learn to live with it,then it was my age and everyone of my age suffered with similar symptoms. I had already attended a local well established chiropractor who had refused to give me more treatment as she was convinced there was something more serious involved. Even when I asked for a referral to go privately this took several weeks to action. Once I got a private scan it was confirmed I had a cyst on my vertebrae which was causing the problem. A procedure was booked but cancelled two days before it was due owing to the COVID-19 virus. A complaint letter was sent but so far not addressed. |
