Penryn Surgery is terrible. The staff are soo rude and do not listen or care about patients. If you ever voice a concern you are made to feel like it's your own fault as its never theirs. My housemate tried to get an appointment for weeks and kept being told her symptoms weren't serious enough to warrant an appointment until one day she was feeling so ill we took her to a Dr in falmouth who immediately got her rushed to hospital as she had pneumonia! They are going to kill someone with their ineptitude if they haven't done so already. |

Extremely rude and dismissive staff, can never get an appointment and there have been endless trouble with prescription medications not being filled and the surgery blaming anyone they can except themselves even when I watch my pharmacy order them the surgery lie and say that my pharmacy never requested. |

I am a student And right away I believe that means I am treated so differently. my problems are shrugged off and the doctors hardly gets eye contact with me. I've been disappointed by penryn surgery so many times it is laughable. I have had problems with my genitals where I am in constant pain. I travelled all the way to the surgery for an appointment where a professional could look at my genitals - but instead was met with a carefree man who was unprepared and said he could’not because there was no other nurse about. I am so confused by them. Recently I went to the surgery and finally opened up about an assault I went through and how stressed and unheard I feel by them. And the lady confidently gave me an address and number to a sexual health clinic in Falmouth. That is not open. It is not open during the summer holidays and she didn't know that. what kind of surgery doesn't know this?? They sent me to close doors during a very vulnerable time in my life and I feel so passionate about their poor service now because I don’t want uni students younger and vulnerable like me to have to go through the same treatment. It is appalling. I feel stupid. I get told I need to rebook and rebook appointment for different elements of my womanhood. Meaning I'm currently off contraception and have had to book another appointment with them to get it sorted. And then I will be the one judged for an accidental pregnancy at 21. If you have experienced similar please contact me at ls263462@falmouth.ac.uk student or not, I want to do something about this. |
