I had cause to call the surgery as I was on holiday in the area and became very unwell. I phoned the surgery - I didn't realise at the time, but I was speaking to the main site at Portscatho. The receptionist said this was because the St Mawes surgery was closed at that time, but they gave me an appointment for the same afternoon at St Mawes. I couldn't travel as I had come down to the area on a coach trip so didn't have my own transport.
The GP saw me the same day, was really very nice and approachable.
They said that I could come back if I didn't get any better but actually by the following day, I was feeling much better and carried on with my holiday. I only missed one day trip on the coach! | ||||||
