Avoid this doctors surgery at all costs , never listen to you , never have a required outcome and the staff are rude as anything if you don't want to be dismissed don't come to this surgery | ||||||

I have used this centre for over thirty years and have never found cause for complaint, indeed it's staff have proven excellent, always professional and industrious but finding time for the human touch. The staff in my experience fulfil there roles with considerable expertise.. I recently had a serious and life changing operation within two weeks of a consultation purely because my symptoms though obscure were quickly diagnosed by the doctor and decisive action was taken immediately. I cannot thank them enough. | ||||||

I've attended with my partner and stepchild. / Recently with my Step child the doctor was fantastic, could not have been better. / recently with my partner the locum was referring to an out of date medical book which was several years old and therefore did not contain details of the medication my partner was taking, so he found that worrying. The doctor did, however consult with a specialist to ensure that they were taking the best course of action and did a great job in the end. / we have generally found the doctors to be good with one very unfortunate exception which was when my partner was told he had a muscular condition which he was certain it was not (having had muscular pain before) and after visiting several times got no further until a few months down the line we discovered what it was (not muscular) and permanent damage had been done. This may have been avoided if the doctor had listened to him and not assumed him to be an idiot, or simply referred him for a scan given that the condition petsisted. / the Receptionists do sometimes still make 'triage' decisions (although recently this has worked in our favour, previously it has not and has delayed things that needed seeing to sooner, i.e. A dangerous condition assumed not to be) but their manner is usually very pleasant and helpful so I think they've improved from the previous posts. / nurse also pleasant and efficient. | ||||||
