Doctors there can no not do enough for me always have time to listen and try other things to rule out worse case 1st Only problem I have are the telephone lines are awful other then that can't fault them Keep up the good work | ||||||

I just want to say how pleased i am with this surgery.
i often hear people complaining about the time it takes to get an appointment to see a doctor.
Fortunately I do not normally need to visit the doctors often, as my health generally is good. However in the last 6 months i have developed a problem with my eyes. The first time it flared up I called into the surgery on my way home from work and was given an appointment later that evening. I was given a prescription and overnight the problem got worse. I was a little worried , so phoned the surgery, they gave me another appointment later that morning. When the doctor saw me she was concerned and made an appointment at the hospital. I received treatment at the hospital and within a week i was more or less back to normal.
Since then I have needed to see a doctor on 3 different occasions. Each time I have been seen by a doctor on the same day. Fantastic service. | ||||||

Just thought it would be good to give some praise in a world where a lot of people moan. I chose Southway surgery because I had heard very positive things about it.
Sometimes it takes a little while to get through on the phone but staff always do their upmost to sort an appointment for you or sort your problem. I have visited several of the doctors and nurses and always been treated with the utmost kindness and care.
If further appointments or treatment have been needed there have been no problems and prompt service.
The building is clean and everyone there polite and inviting. | ||||||
