I have always received excellent care from the practice. Today I would like to spotlight the reception staff. Without exception they are professional and friendly and professional. They do a busy and difficult job and deserve to be treated with respect and not abused by anyone in any way. They cannot answer every call immediately because there are many patients who wish to speak to them. They ask questions to ensure the smooth running of the practice and to help you. I am grateful to them for their efforts and care. Be nice to them. | ||||||

I have received the best treatment and care from Lisson Grove surgery. I was diagnosed with a perineal abscess over the New Year and from diagnosis to the first surgery was 4 days. After seeing a doctor at the surgery I was called to see how I was getting on 2 days later, that lead to a referral direct to the Surgical Assessment Unit at Derriford hospital. The care and speed of surgery was amazing. I cannot fault the whole process.
After my surgery to remove the abscess I was left with an open wound that needed daily dressing change and care (I will leave the nasty details out).
After the first week I was sent back to the hospital as one of the nurses was not happy with the wound and a doctor at the surgery agreed and I was fast tracked back to the SAU.
This lead to a second operation and since then the recovery has gone well.
I have had treatment every day for a month now and the staff have helped me through it.
I can say that everyone who I have come into contact with at the surgery have been amazing.
A nigh thank you to the people that have done my treatment as well as the receptionist for finding daily appointments.
I cannot praise all of them higher, thank you!
I would also like thank everyone at the Cumberland centre who have changed my dressings at the weekends. | ||||||

Amazing service from all staff at the surgery.
The ‘walk in’ service has been wonderful and I have been seen within minutes of arriving.
Everyone at the surgery has been helpful, kind and efficient in providing an excellent service. I always feel the staff go out of their way to do their best and during a particularly difficult time for me a few months ago were so caring and helpful. It was so appreciated!
