I rang underwood surgery on the 10th January at 2:40. I was hoping for an appointment but instead was greeted by a rude, inconsiderate receptionist who mocked my condition. I had work in the afternoon, so was unable to guarantee a response to the phone call and didn’t appreciate the comment “it’s clearly not a priority then”. The phone call ended with the ultimatum of “ what do you want me to do for you because I have other people to deal with.” I found this comment completely belittling with a profound lack of empathy which someone in this job role should have. This experience has really changed my opinion of the surgery staff and this attitude could really effect others to neglect their health and well being in the future, this needs to change. |

GP declined to see someone in crisis. Instead, referring them to a service that isn't even available in the near future. Disgraceful neglect of a person in need. |

Our daughter is a student at UoG and has been under your care. Appointments have been timely, plans sensible and flexible to suit a student (chaotic!) lifestyle. Admin staff have been most helpful in sorting prescriptions that have run out, phone consultations that have been missed etc....none of which being the fault of the practice (kids eh?)....We cannot fault the service offered. As both parents are healthcare professionals - we appreciate the service offered in the constraints of the system. Well done! |
