Went for appointment at Saintbridge surgery, I usually go to Horton rd, had sore ribs, was seen the same day I phoned, was sent for blood tests, ecg & chest x-rays, blood tests & ecg clear, x-rays found a shadow on my lung, was diagnosed with small cell lung Cancer, have to say due to the vigilance & care i received from the doctor I visited that day the cancer was found in the early stages, unfortunately this type of cancer is incurable, however as it was found quite early I have a longer chance of survival & am grateful to the lady doctor I saw that day, thank you so much for your professionalism & care & for sending me for those x-rays , I will be forever grateful for the extra time I have , aspen medical practice have been amazing & I cannot fault them, please think before you say negative things about the care you receive, these doctors do a fantastic job & I would like to say a massive thank you & carry on with the great service you provide as a practice. | ||||||

Spent 75 minutes on the phone yesterday trying to get through to the prescription line. When I eventually got to ‘no. 1’ in the queue I was cut off-presumably because it was by now 3.30pm and the lines closed at that time regardless of the phone queue. The long suffering patients of this practice have been told for the last 6 months or more that the situation will improve- not much sign of it yet! Perhaps on the next staff training day they could pretend to be patients trying to get through on the phone as no one at the practice seems to appreciate the seriousness of this situation. | ||||||

Phones rarely answered.
Staff, systems and processes inefficient.
Struggling NHS and local GP challenges compounded by poor management and untrained staff. | ||||||
