Rude, argumentative obstructive Receptionists. Negligent, lazy, rude GPs. Repeated basic errors which have a huge impact on accessing health services and treatment e. g. referral letters sent to wrong place and then refusal to re refer, changing medication schedule without negotiation, repeated failure to send prescriptions to chemist, refusal to give prescriptions, arguing over blood test request, no follow up to mental health crisis reports, failure to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act, complaints ignored, no complaints procedures. And it's always someone else's fault!! This Practice is putting vulnerable patients like, me at risk. |

I've already complained this before as one of their receptionist is a bit rude. The last time she shouted on me over the phone and this time it feels like as if she doesn't even care. You work on a health care environment and how can someone be apathetic? I feel like I'm not privileged to call the GP surgery just because it's the busiest time. It wasn't like this before. I hope it really gets sorted as when you're sick the least thing you wanted is someone to just drop your issue like as if it wasn't important. |

I rang to enquire whether this GP practice after relocation after recommendations by friends to join this practice due to its excellent reputation. On the first occasion, I was informed from the reception team that I am outside of the catchment area and therefore am not eligible to register. She did not take the time to check and reply almost immediately. I did not believe this to be the case and had to resort to checking this myself on GP Boundary Tool and only to find out that my address is in fact within the catchment area. I rang again 1 hour later and received a dismissive and rude phone call from a receptionist who yet again state I was outside the catchment area before I confronted her with the GP Boundry Map that is listed on the surgery's website. I wonder how many patients have been misinformed or whether their reception team is aware of the requirements detailed in the GP contract. It is unsurprising to say that I will not be joining after this debacle - this is not because of the reception team's incompetence but rather a certain member of staff's sordid attitude |
