the admin. team and doctors at this practice are exemplary. My husband is terminally ill and I had an cause for alarm Monday afternoon which needed gp advice. I rang reception and was treated with great understanding and care. It warranted a gp visit after the list was done and the on call gp was already out on home visits. Ten mins. later the lovely doctor was on my doorstep and sorted my husband out. He was not the on call doctor, but got wind of my husbands situation and put himself out above and beyond the call of duty and came straight round to put me and my poorly husbands minds at rest. He was an absolute star. Can't thank him enough. The care are we have both received since my husbands terminal diagnosis has been exemplary and we are both eternally grateful to the Hollywood medical practice for all they have and continue to do for us. God bless them all. We are so very lucky to have such a caring group of people. Thank you once again. From martha and Andreas. Love and hugs all round and eternal gratitude. X | ||||||

The main flaw with this doctors surgery is their reception team. Its almost as if they're trained to be rude, unwelcoming and unfriendly. If you call for an appointment, you cant normally get one for at least 3 weeks or call at 8:30am on the day. if its a genuine need to see a GP urgently, and they do manage to squeeze you in, they make you feel like a massive inconvenience and a waste of their time.
The doctors and nurses are lovely and cannot be faulted however. They always try to resolve your issue as quickly and carefully as possible.
It's a shame for the rest of the team, that their front of house lets them down drastically. | ||||||

I telephoned the surgery regarding a family member who had been seen yesterday afternoon. It was 6.30pm. I wasn’t expecting the phone to be answered . The phone was easy to navigate and I was quickly answered. The support team listened attentively and when I asked for Dr’s opinion, immediately put me through to him. Dr took my call, immediately gave me advice and showed he knew my family member. Thank you Hollywood Medical Centre, you were first class ! | ||||||
