Cannot book and appointment other than on the day (and then was on hold for over 2 hours only to get cut off). I went to the surgery half an hour before opening to try that way to get an appointment to find 12 people ahead of me - then told I needed to call or come back at 1pm when they open the afternoon appointments. Cannot book online. I need a regular injection and have to go through this every time. The lost my x rays so they had to be repeated. all this and they are still taking on new patients |

This complaint has nothing to do with my experience with doctors but to do with contacting the surgery. I have NEVER experienced such consistently bad service from a surgery as far as making appointments, getting test results or trying to make a follow up appointment. It’s almost impossible to get through to this surgery without being on hold for literally ages - my worst experience being over an hour and 20 minutes just to be told to go through the app by the receptionist who then hung up only to find that this information was not true and the app was not even up and running. I work all day from 6.30am until 5.00pm in Birmingham in a job where you cannot be on your phone. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME to be on hold for hours and have my lunch break to call. Currently I’m waiting to speak to anyone about my test results it’s 6.32pm, I’ve been waiting in a queue of 2 people, then 1, for more than 50 minutes and still have not got to speak to anyone. Sick of the music as well. Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful surgery. Do not join this surgery go anywhere but here you will end up as frustrated and annoyed as I am with the reception. Given up holding on very dissatisfied patient over 50 minutes and couldn’t answer 2 calls in this time? |
