Meriden Surgery

Staff are generally friendly. GPs seem knowledgeable and not arrogant as some tend to be. Getting an appointment early the same day is usually easy if it's urgent and you phone first thing, but occasionally it's impossible to get through by phone before all urgent appointments have been booked, leaving the only option to go down and wait for possibly hours. After the early morning hours it's usually possible to get through by phone but sometimes it goes unanswered.

Having been a patient with this practice for almost 50years I can confirm that generally the staff and medical team that work here have always provided myself and my family with excellent care. We have over the years been in need of both urgent and minor referrals and treatments and we have always received adequate attention from both the doctors and the nurses. Throughout the years, from our babies to an ailing, dying, elderly parent, and lots more in between, we have been treated respectfully and kindly. Obviously there are times when the small surgery is busy and it becomes difficult to get an instant appointment, but from what we hear from other people in other practices, we are actually fortunate in the access we do have. The senior doctors and nurses in this practice receive nothing but thanks from us all and we have never had any problems with the receptionists.
