I have been a patient for thirty years but my partner, only a couple of years. Throughout the winter/ spring of 2017/18 my partner's health deteriorated. Whenever I contacted Springfields Medical Centre , they responded immediately to my concerns. This was either an appointment that day( many times over the months) or a home visit whichever was appropriate at the time. Referrals were made quickly & were followed up by staff as & when. All staff(medical & admin) were kind, caring and very approachable. I cannot fault them at any stage. They have become my 'extended family' as I have been given massive support and time as the carer, alongside their obvious care of the patient. He took great confidence from their attitude & manner at all times, as well as their obvious knowledge. I have over many years, time & time again, had reason to praise & thank the team at Springfields Medical Centre but none more so than in the last six months. I do not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone. This surgery over the last 50 years has always strived to achieve the highest level of care and support. The staff get involved in many out of hours activities focussing on giving much wider support to basic health care. Over the years doctors have changed but the same ethos of care and support has been the first priority. greater awareness of medical issues have been presented as additional educational meetings supported on many occasions by their PPG. The last CQC evaluation awarded the surgery an outstanding award, which speaks for itself. Even with the current shortage of GP's the support and care has not been compromised.
Personally I am greatful for all the care I have received and long may it continue. | ||||||
