Longford Street Surgery

Patches, worse thing ever, really needed an appointment that day, up early, online. Got appointment two weeks later. Wasn't deemed that important how I felt, up to whoever to decide that. ??

I have to say that I have been thinking of changing my GP since a doctor at Longford Street Surgery suggested that I try running a marathon to battle depression. This was after I said that achievements such as getting a job, graduating university etc were not making me feel anything. I have also said that I am getting plenty of exercise through gym and sports.

Ive got to say im not very impressed with this surgery anymore having to ring on the day for an appointment is garbage and when you eventually get through all appointments gone i have literally get up early and go to the surgery in person to get an appointment . The check in system needs serious overhauling as my last but one visit i made an appointment 2 weeks before and still had to wait 45 mins to see the doctor i was told he was seeing an emergency patient however it cant have been that much of an emergency as i didnt see any ambulance on leaving .My last appointment on the 18/6/18 at 9-30 again that was booked 2 weeks prior after booking in and the screen telling me the doctor was on time i had to wait 45 mins again and when i spoke to reception the book hadnt booked me in so she did it and i had to wait another 15 mins before i saw the gp .I have been with this practice since moving to the area around 30 years ago but recently it has gone right down hill .if it wasnt so convenient to where i live i would go to another practice .
