An excellent Surgery. All medical staff are highly trained professional people who always put me at my ease. It can be difficult to get an appointment, but most, if not all, GP Surgeries are similar in that respect, in my experience. The Receptionists are friendly, helpful and efficient. I recommend Neston Surgery very highly. |

Recently changed GP’s following house-move. I’d contacted Neston surgery via e-mail a few months earlier to check that they were taking new patients as my spouse has complex needs. Instead of yay/nay e-mail reply (or –from previous practice experience - query lost in the ether), I got a same-day phone call from the practice manager outlining their services & registration process. Consensus from family & friends when I told them about this was ‘ooh, that’s good’. Past experience has made me too cynical to base primary care rating on one good encounter, but everything to date has been indicative of smooth administration, approachable service & consideration shown by all staff at the practice. The real culture shock came with a) applying for on-line repeat prescriptions (came by return post! And registration worked! I was still waiting for access from previous practice after applying in 2016) and b) their arranging my husband’s diabetic eye check. The latter came with choice (!) of service provider, which certainly makes life a lot easier than the ‘options’ (fixed date with named and very difficult-to-access provider) open to us with the previous practice . Altogether, a different, more understanding approach. |
