Doctors Are very caring as are the nursing staff , simply cannot fault them. However, can't say i the same about some of the reception staff. A handful of them seem to treat you with hostility and contempt based on gossip they hear and fetch into the practice. It's always been common knowledge around the area that this takes place at this practice. It's sad really because it stops people pouring their hearts out and as a result they don't get the health care experience they should and would from these great medics at the VHC. Doctors should see the patient as they present to them . And i hope no Doctor or nurse there would base there diagnosis based on gossip repeated to them. Gossip that's invented to discredit a decent person & totally untrue, and so dangerous it leads to a misdiagnosis. The Confidentiality clause & data protection is there for a reason and they should adhere to that because sensitive information is not there to be used to the advantage of unscrupulous people. or for titilation of gossips. It's sad when you have to write anon because you fear repercussions. My rating is based on the Doctors & Nurses who are excellent at their job. I hope the Doctors and nurses read this especially the senior established Doctors . | ||||||

Everybody is brilliant in there. The receptionist always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is how it should be. She’s brilliant. Best doctors you could ask for. | ||||||

I recently registered with this surgery after moving away from my previous gp. I was very disappointed with my previous surgery and hoped this one would be better. Based on the reviews I registered and went for my new patient assessment.
The receptionist is lovely, she doesn't act like she's guarding the gates to heaven like most Dr secretaries. She got me registered and booked in quickly and was lovely to deal with.
The nurse was also lovely, she listened to all of my concerns and offered the flu jab to me. I finally feel like I found a surgery I'm comfortable in and able to be taken seriously. | ||||||
