Unfortunately this surgery is absolutely awful, you have more chance of winning the euro millions than getting your prescription on time. If you are stuck with this surgery, I’d recommend to put a prescription through a few months before the needed date. |

Terrible experience trying to sort a prescription Spent so long on the phone being told to contact the hospital myself and then back on to the surgery a few more times Receptionist was looking in wrong notes so told me no letter had arrived This was not true and I had then to ring the secretary at the hospital Stuck in the middle of policy that has nothing to do with me as a patient Very stressful and upsetting Could not get to speak to a doctor or clinician which would have resolved things quickly and being told to ring at 8am the next day which would have blocked an appointment when it was an admin issue that needed a clinicians approval Feel very disappointed that I have had to really push hard to get what was prescribed by the hospital How anyone with hearing difficulties or who those who feel very unwell manage I have no idea Exhausting and frustrating experience that could have been resolved a lot sooner |

I had been in considerable pain and unable to use my hand for sometime. Hospital waiting times were incredibly long, but the experienced GP who treated me, was very supportive, helped me deal with the pain and, in the end, managed to treat the problem himself. He was honest and transparent at all times and always enabled me to make my own informed decisions. The reception staff were polite and helpful, as always.There are problems in this surgery, as in all areas of our precious, overstretched and under-funded health service but I feel lucky to be treated by a very knowledgeable, supportive and highly experienced doctor.
