After arriving exactly 10 minutes late due to unforeseen circumstances I was informed by the receptionists that the doctor would not see me.
I questioned whether the doctor was running on time as I normally have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes , to which they admitted the doctor was not and also admitted that the 3 appointments before mine were still waiting to see the doctor so technically I had not missed my slot in the que.
I was still however refused my appointment and they were not able to supply another acceptable one in the foreseeable future as they do not have the doctors calendar after 3 working days |

Never see the same doctor therefore repeating your case each visit. Office staff are rude and you have to chase up on anything you are waiting for. Appointments are always late, I have had to wait nearly an hour on one occasion then realising the person rushing through the waiting room 1/2 hour before was the Locom I went in to see. Telephone appointments they don't even know why they are calling you so not only do you have to go through the reason you needed them to call but then you hope they will diagnose or guide you correctly. Reply from FRESHFIELD SURGERY Mon, 16 Mar 2015 16:57:04 Z Thank you for your comment. I am sorry that you feel that you have received a dismal service from the practice. Dr Lindsay has been our regular GP since September 2013 and works 3 days a week. All consultations are recorded onto your medical record which provides a clear history for the GP, but any GP you see will require to take some kind of medical history from you. There was an occasion in January where a locum GP arrived late and patients were kept waiting for half an hour. This was due to a mix up on the locums part and as a result she has not been booked for any further sessions at Freshfield Surgery. We are often praised for the efficiency and helpfulness of our reception staff as you will se from previous comments, but if you feel that any members of staff appear to be rude please do not hesitate to contact me. Lisa Roberts (Practice Manager). |
