I suffer with Mental Health issues well documented and known by this surgery, I was attended by the surgery partner Dr Scott last week, I discussed my ongoing mental health issues with him and informed him that my medication is not working, this medical professionals response was simply if the medication is not working you will just have to live with the symptoms just like a chronic back Pain, seriously??? Comparing mental health issues to a chronic back pain. My last suicide attempt was not even a year ago and my sister committed suicide in 2020 and this Dr, Dr Scott has the nerve to compare the fight and struggle of so many people with mental health conditions to that of having a chronic back pain condition. Very unprofessional and uneducated in my view. Certainly will never book an appointment with such an irresponsible Dr in the future. | ||||||

I have been with this surgery for 41 years, just reading recent reviews and abit surprised at how bad they are. Getting an appointment can be a bit difficult but generally if you ring Bob on 8am when they open they will fit you in, I think some appointments should be saved and opened up at lunchtime, I've suffered with my mental health and at times getting up in time to call with all the meds I was on proved difficult. I don't think the receptionist are rude dragon's as seems to be stated in other reviews I've always been treated with respect and kindness as I have always treated them the same. Practice staff have all been polite, respectful and caring. I don't think the surgery is perfect but I don't think it is any worse than any other surgery. I wish they would bring back face to face appointments but this seems to be going on everywhere not just here. Maybe try being kind to staff next time and see if you have a better experience. | ||||||
