Needed prescription for controlled drug.
Very busy with family and recent bereavment, over christmas being very difficult with family and friends.
Forgoten to collect prescription from chemist.
Advised unable to just stop taking them.
Asked for help in obtained one to see me over to monday.
The dr who spoke to me was very rude, condisending and arogant towards my mistake.
As an hard working adult with a family I dont belive that I or anyone that matter needs to be spoken to in a manner that I was spoken to this evening.
Didnt believe I was telling the truth about having none left. IF I had some I wouldnt be making these calls from 2pm Saturday for advice. I am uncomfortable about taking these anyway but have to for the pain.
do you need to patch? yes i do as advised cant stop taking it at once.
can you live without it ?I dont know your the doctor.
if its so important you shoud have remembered to collect it, I was told

I made a mistake and needed advice and help which was not given, very disgusted in the private practises doctor who I spoke to from Little Lever Health Centre. | ||||||

I personally wouldn’t recommend this GP practice to anybody. You would be very lucky to get an appointment when you need one. It’s very difficult to get through to anybody as nobody answers the phone. When I have actually been able to get an appointment, I have been left waiting for almost 2 hours past my appointment time before actually being seen. When you do eventually get seen to, the doctors don’t seem to care. My daughter has had awful chest infections and really struggled with her breathing, but nobody is bothered. I once called 111 for my daughter when she was struggling, who sent an ambulance immediately and took her to A&E. I’ve been trying to get through to them all morning to rearrange an appointment and nobody is answering the phones, it just rings out. I have attempted to call them upwards of 10 times just this morning. It’ll be my fault, however, when I don’t attend my appointment. | ||||||

I dont have a problem with the surgery as a whole the reception staff are friendly and helpful my problem is one particular doctor who is rude patronising and doesn't listen they treat you as if you are a nobody and you have no intelligence
I have decided that I will never see them again so this makes my chance of getting an appointment even worse | ||||||
